    League of Women Voters Candidates Forum: September 23 at 7 pm

    The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County and the local branch of the NAACP hosted a candidates forum on September 23 at 7pm.     Steppin' Out: August 6 & 7, 10 am - 10 pm

    Susan is volunteering at the Steppin’ Out T-shirt booth on Friday from 8 am to 2 pm and then 4 pm to 10 pm. On Saturday she’ll work 9 am to 2 pm and 6 pm to 10 pm. Please drop by to say “Hi,” purchase a shirt, or pick up a free “Be Committed Be Well” shopping bag.

    Second Drive-by Petition Signing: March 21

    We’re having our second drive-by petition signing for Susan and fellow Town Councilors–Leslie Hager-Smith (mayor), Susan Mattingly, and Lauren Colliver–who are running for re-election. Please participate on Sunday, March 21, 1-3 pm, at the Rec Center on Patrick Henry Drive, Blacksburg. We each need 125 valid signatures to be listed on the November 2 ballot. We’re half-way there! Please wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
